Terms of Service

1. Rental Agreement
By booking a bike through Just Rent Service, you agree to the terms set out in the individual rental contract signed in our office. The contract must be signed before any bike is issued.
2. Payment & Deposit
A refundable deposit of 1 500 Kč is required for all rentals. The deposit is returned after bike inspection upon return. Rental fees are charged in advance as stated in the booking. Early return does not entitle the client to a refund.
3. Bike Use
Bikes may only be used for their intended purpose (urban cycling/courier work). Off-road use, racing, or subletting the bike to third parties is strictly prohibited. You must carry a valid ID during rental.
4. Damage & Liability
You are responsible for any damage to the bike beyond normal wear and tear. Damage is assessed at return and may be deducted from the deposit or invoiced separately. In case of theft, a police report must be filed within 24 hours.
5. Service & Maintenance
We provide regular maintenance during the rental period. Report any technical issues immediately. Do not attempt repairs yourself — this voids any coverage.
6. Cancellation
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the rental start date. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in loss of deposit. Active rentals cannot be cancelled without full payment of the remaining period.
7. Insurance
Optional extended insurance is available for 200 Kč/month. The base rental includes limited coverage as described on the Insurance page. Any coverage is subject to the conditions of the specific policy.
8. Privacy
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR regulations. We collect only the data necessary to manage your rental relationship.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Czech law. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts in Prague, Czech Republic.
